Day 8 - Happy & Cold

It's the afternoon and I've only had my SWF (salt water flush - 32.oz spring water & 2 teaspoons of non-iodized sea salt). I don't feel hungry at all, but I know from experience that I need to drink the lemonade - otherwise I'll have cravings in a few hours.

I made the LA with limes yesterday & then put it in the freezer until it was a slushy. It was SO good! Gonna do that again today. I don't know if it was because the taste of the limes is different or what, but it tastes great.

The weight is coming off. I'm averaging a pound a day & feel SO much better in my clothes. I plan to throw up some before photos to track my journey. I can already see my skin improving. It's clearer & brighter - I can only imagine what it'll look like in 32 days.

Finally, it's 80 degrees in my apt. but I have chills! I'm not complaining. I know my body is detoxing and it could be worse, I could be getting hot flashes or something. I hate being hot.

2nd entry: It's later in the day and I slept most of the day. I wasn't feeling energetic. I curled up with my cat Tyson & woke up 5 hours later. In Peter Glickman's book, he talks about Day 8 being a major detox day. I agree. I am not hungry, I'm...just...slow. Gonna go make my "dinner" - 30oz. of lemonade & a cup of mint tea (yum!)
